How do I book and pay for a photo session?
Select the type of session or photo deal you would like (Ex. headshots, family, graduation etc..) Click on the calendar to select an available day and time slot. On the next step you will select from the list of locations. Once you confirm your details and make a payment, you're all set. An official Sunlightsnap photographer will meet you at the specified date/time/location. And yes, immediately after you book the session you will get an email confirmation with all the details along with the meeting instructions. Your images will be delivered online in 5-7 business days. Who will be photographing me?
An official Sunlightsnap photographer will meet you at the specified date/time/location specified in your booking details. He or she will be a hand-picked professional you can trust!
Do I get all of my photos after?
You will receive the amount of images stated to be included in the package you select, however substandard shots such as blinking eyes, blurry or lighting test shots will be discarded. You will then receive an email to download your final images along with your own personal printing rights. No watermark on your photos!
Can I do my own printing?
Yes, when you purchase a session, you will get all of your digital files in print quality resolution along with your own personal printing rights.
Can I bring a second outfit?
Good photography takes time, and it's important to use the entire session time effectively with your best outfit already on. Therefore, the packages are limited to one look only.
What do I bring?
Please come prepare with your outfit already on and any accessories ready to go incase you need them.
• If you hire a hair and make up stylist, you must be ready by the start of your photo appointment.
• Ironed/Pressed - It is ideal if you can bring your clothing already ironed, steamed or pressed, and in a garment bag to try to keep them wrinkle free. It is understood that this is not always possible, and that things can and will wrinkle with travel.
• Shoes/Socks/Accessories – Don’t forget to bring coordinating shoes and accessories for the clothing you bring. Things like belts, different colored socks (especially black for men’s dress pants), or white undershirt for light color dress shirts.
Can I take my pictures at another location not listed here?
Unfortunately the list of locations are limited to Sunlightsnap's selection. However, our specialty is in selecting the best outdoor backgrounds so you can get the best photo results. The current locations available have been hand selected for best variety and photo friendly environments to meet your needs and most popular requests.
What kind of backgrounds do you offer?
Every location from the available selection has something unique to offer. For example, some locations offer greenery and historic architectural backgrounds, and others offer rocks by the water at the beach. For real samples on what to expect for each available location, click here:

What if I'm running late?
First, what you need to know is that your photographer will meet you at the specified date, time and location stated in your confirmation email after purchase. With this confirmation, we expect to see you there. Next, your photographer will wait up to 10 minutes if you are running late. If you are not there after 10 minutes, the session will count as a cancelation. Please see cancelation policy below.
What if I need to reschedule?
Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we can reschedule for a better day! This includes cancelations due to weather conditions. No rescheduling fees ever for weather conditions that will affect the performance of the photographer or photography equipment. Please note we may contact you prior if weather conditions are not favorable. On the other hand, for whatever reason that you cannot make it such as in a case of emergency, just email or call the customer support number 24 hours in advance. We can reschedule your appointment to the next available day and time without any penalty. On the other hand if you request to reschedule under the 24 hour notice, a $30 rescheduling fee will be applied before services are rendered on your new arranged appointment.
Do you have a cancelation policy? Any cancelations with a 24 hour notice will grant you a full refund. However, if you do not show up on your appointment, or are running late past the 10 minute mark, or cancel under the 24 hour notice, you are entitled to a refund minus a $30 cancelation fee.
